The Dingle Peninsula is a 30 mile loop around a piece of land that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean on the west coast of the island. We spent most of the driving the route laid out in Rick Steve's Travel Guide (highly recommend it!).
Along the way though dingle there are all sorts of historical sites to stop and explore. One that we really liked is known as the Dingle Beehive Huts. The date back to 1200AD!
I love just driving in in Ireland. Today we passes a tiny little house with a sign out that read "Cafe" and another sign that read "home baking." We pulled over and the most precious older gentlemen invited us into his downstairs cafe for tea, homemade scones and rhubarb pie. We enjoyed our afternoon tea by the fire. The weather here has been perfect. Cool enough for coats and sitting by the fire but warm enough to be outside enjoying the sites.
